The new sneakers are born from a collaboration with ACBC, the first and only Italian start-up recognised as a B Corporation, one of the most authoritative international certifications in the field of sustainability. They are distinguished by a minimal design and clean lines that echo the rounded shapes of O bag's bags. The item is made with certified eco-friendly raw materials: FreeBio RePU and ReCotton. FreeBio RePU is an alternative material technology to leather, derived from recycled polyester fibres, organic and mineral fillers, and a water-based polyurethane coating. This sustainable, animal-free fabric was created with the aim of obtaining the most responsible material possible, without compromising the performance and durability of the product. ReCotton, on the other hand, is made from pre- and post-consumer recycled cotton fibres. This organic cotton is grown using methods that have a lower impact on the environment than standard cotton. Organic production systems restore and maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilisers, and build biologically diverse agriculture.
