The new sneakers are the result of a collaboration with ACBC, the first and only Italian startup recognized as a B Corporation, one of the most authoritative internationally recognized sustainability certifications. They stand out for their minimal design and clean lines that recall the rounded shapes of the O bag.
The item is made with certified ecological raw materials: FreeBio RePU and ReCotton. FreeBio RePU represents a material technology alternative to leather, derived from recycled polyester fibers, organic fillers, minerals, and a water-based polyurethane coating. This sustainable and animal-free fabric was created with the goal of obtaining the most responsible material possible, without compromising the performance and durability of the product. ReCotton is made from pre- and post-consumer recycled cotton fibers. This organic cotton is grown using methods that have a lower environmental impact than standard cotton. Organic production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers, and build a biologically diverse agriculture.
